The new 63mm Drum Vac Super Box Thruster utilises a larger hose (2.5 inch) system which allows a much higher air flow rate through the hose and thereby makes the system perfect for waste recovery that need large bore suction hose. All units have reverse air blast filter cleaning and a German manufactured Festo pressure regulator. The essence of this air powered vacuum is power, strength and durability. Vacteck Vacuums has designed the system with heavy industrial usage in mind. This is a system that can handle being in the field or in a foundry, an environment that would normally destroy standard vacuum systems and tools.
The 2 drum system means that one drum can remain as a dry unit and not fouled or contaminated with wet waste. A float valve assembly situated under the 63mm transfer intake pipe prevents wet waste from traveling across to the dry unit.
The lid is fitted with two chromed 63mm intake and suction pipes. One fitted with the float valve assembly.
Drum vacuums have been traditionally a convenient way for industrial factories and foundries etc to use a vacuum from an old drum using the venturi principle. Drum vac has taken this a step further with the high powered versions, the new Super Box Thruster Twin. As such it is advisable to strengthen your drums with re-inforcing bands shown in the picture below.
All Super Box Thrusters are fitted with reverse filter cleaning to keep the system powerful and efficient for long hours of operation.
